For years I had read about and seen this entertainer that I just knew I had to see live one day. Well that day finally came. As I have mentioned in the past, I like to gift experiences when the recipient has everything. So that is what this was, a gift for a family member, and the whole family came both young and old.
Darren Partridge otherwise known as Dizzy is a man of many talents. This England native not only does magic, he is also VERY funny. He is constantly amazing you with what he can do which makes this two hour show fly by, even kids do not have time to say they are bored.
It was a very fast paced, high energy show filled with a lot of ooo’s, ahh’s and side splitting humor. Seriously, we almost peed our pants at one point. I highly recommend seeing one of Dizzy’s shows if you get the opportunity. And if comedy magic is not your thing, he also does Cirque shows that also look amazing. Next gift will be to one of those shows.
*PLANNING TIP* Seating is always important at shows like this. I am partial to an Aisle seat, that I give up for older guests in our party most of the time. And you definitely want to sit up close, if you get tickets early you should be able to lock in a decent price for the seats that you want. Keep in mind he likes to include the audience so the closer you are the more likely you are to be picked.
*SHOPPING TIP* During his performance you will hear Dizzy speak about stopping by his merchandise table where he sells tricks and signs autographs after the show. I highly recommend checking it out at intermission, that way you have the second half of the show to decide if you want to go back and get something. There were some very neat things, I highly recommend taking a look.
