MUSIC IS MEDICINE

Music has always been medicine for me.  It helps relieve stress, pain, anxiety and depression just to name a few ailments.  It has been so helpful to me that I wanted to share some ideas with you.

When you notice you are not quite yourself I suggest picking up your phone and finding your favorite source of music.  It could be Apple Music or iTunes as some of us older folks call it or iHeart, SiriusXM, Pandora or something like Spotify.  There are so many platforms you should explore and find your favorite.  I suggest either listening to an entire album, a specific station or a playlist that you curated to help lift your mood.

Music is also an amazing motivator.  Use it for that and you will improve the speed and ease of accomplishing your work, exercise, organizing and the list goes on and on.  Enjoy!

*ENTERTAINMENT TIP* When listening to music, if you hear a song you like look to the display for the title and the artist, then take a picture of the screen to remind yourself of this song later to add to a playlist.  If you do not have a screen displaying this info you can use the Shazam App to find the song for you, then you can screen shot the screen for future reference.

*JAJ TIP* I enjoy creating playlists with songs I remember from the past, current day and new music that I may not know of yet.  Spotify really helps me with that the best. I. also love when it gets to the end of a playlist how it plays music similar to the last song, helping me find new music.

*PLANNING TIP* You never know when a mood will strike you so it is good to have your music planned out and ready to be listened to.  So the next time you have a moment ask yourself what music makes you happy and start building your library.
